Why was NIP established?
NIP has been established as a special initiative of the Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiatives, Government of Pakistan. It is a subsidiary of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) and has been incorporated to promote / facilitate accelerated Industrial Growth in the Country.
Members of NIP Board of Directors
The Company’s Board of Directors (BOD) comprises of 12 members and includes professionals or individuals having an exceptional record of services relating to industrial development and represent non-governmental organizations, academia and the business community. The Board is chaired by Mr. Salman Burney, Managing Director, GlaxoSmith Kline and Mr. Zubair Habib, Chief Executive.
Does the Company have an Ethics policy for its stakeholders?
NIP lays strong emphasis on maintaining a transparent work practice. Ethics Policy supports a culture of openness, trust, and integrity in management and business practices which in turn provides for a relaxed working environment. A well-implemented Ethics Policy requires the participation and support of all concerned.

What is the procedure for obtaining a plot in the industrial park?
Applications are invited through public marketing campaigns and are scrutinized for allottment.
When will the application form be available?
The application form for Korangi Creek Industrial Park and Rachna Industrial Park are available.

The application form for Korangi Creek Industrial Park and Rachna Industrial Park are available from our Head Office, Regional Office and website.
What documents are required to be submitted along with the application form?
Documents to be submitted will be as per the list of documents given in the application package for the respective project.
Is registration / submission fee required to be deposited with the application form?
Yes. Rs 5,000/- (non-refundable) in the form of either a Pay Order / Demand Draft / Cross Cheque (drawn on a Karachi based bank) will have to be made in the name of National Industrial Parks Development & Management Company. In case of Foreign Nationals the fee is USD 100/- per application.
How can I obtain information about the by laws of the project?
By Laws will be made available to successful applicants enabling them to prepare building plans accordingly.
